Fire Protection System for the McIntosh Reciprocating Engine Project

The City of Lakeland is seeking qualified contractors to design, procure materials, fabricate as necessary, deliver, store, and construct or install a fire protection system for the McIntosh Reciprocating Engine Project. This project involves the installation of a new 120MW reciprocating internal combustion engine (RICE) plant at the existing C.D. McIntosh Jr. Power Plant brownfield site located at 3030 E Lake Parker Drive, Lakeland, FL 33805. The facility will be natural gas fired with six (6) reciprocating engines, and the project includes detailed design, procurement and construction of a complete generation facility with ancillary buildings and equipment.
