Furnish and Deliver Lubricating Oil for Power Plant Gas Turbines

Pasadena Water and Power (PWP), a department of the City of Pasadena, is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver lubricating oil for the Glenarm Power Plant gas turbines. The Glenarm Power Plant consists of five natural gas-fired combustion turbine units: GT-1 and GT-2 are 1970s-era Curtiss-Wright simple cycle gas turbines each rated at 26 MW; GT-3 and GT-4 are GE LM6000 simple cycle gas turbines with a capacity of 47 MW each; and GT-5 is a combined cycle unit with a GE LM6000 gas turbine and Shin Nippon Steam Turbine with a total combined capacity of 71 MW. These units are primarily used to provide power generation during peak periods.

Vendors must submit qualified bids that meet the technical specifications for lubricating oil suitable for these turbine units. The procurement includes furnishing and delivery services to support ongoing operations at the power plant. Submission requirements include completion of all required forms and certifications, including federal certifications, disclosure of lobbying activities, relevant experience documentation, and a DoIT Technical Questionnaire.
