FY2027 CIP RIGHT OF WAY CLEARING - GROUP 1

Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU), a municipal electric utility owned by the City of Bryan, Texas, seeks qualified line clearance contractors to clear distribution line right-of-way to support capital improvement projects. The work includes clearing vegetation that could hinder right-of-way access and transit of equipment needed for the construction and rebuild of distribution lines located in Bryan, College Station, and Rural Brazos County, Texas. The clearing project is designed to allow sufficient access to distribution lines for necessary work and to reestablish original 20-foot right-of-way width.

The project encompasses multiple job sites with aerial maps and specifications provided for each location: E Dodge Street, Bois d'Arc Street, Tabor Road, Mumford Road, Villa Maria, La Brisa, FM 2155, Woodlake, County Road 217, Barziza Street, and Nantucket. A price sheet in Excel format provides the bid grand row totals for all FY2027 CIP right-of-way group 1 projects, and a KMZ file contains geographic information for the project areas.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting via Zoom is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST. Pre-registration is required, and attendance is mandatory with failure to attend grounds for disqualification. The bid opening will be conducted publicly via Zoom on June 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. All bids must be submitted electronically by Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. The question cutoff date is June 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM CST.
