Generator Maintenance & Service

Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) is soliciting bids for comprehensive maintenance, service, inspection, and emergency repair services for a fleet of seventy-seven generators critical to daily operations. The generator inventory consists of sixty-six fixed units located at various sites throughout the City of Gainesville and eleven portable units. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, transportation, supplies, materials, parts, tools, scaffolding, machinery, hoists, employee safety equipment, lubricants, supervision, and all other work and incidentals necessary to maintain and repair these generators in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

The contractor must perform scheduled inspections, routine maintenance, emergency service and repairs, and ensure all generators and related equipment are maintained according to the technical specifications outlined in the solicitation documents. Services will be ongoing and required to support GRU's operational continuity.
