Generator Maintenance & Service

Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance, service, inspection, and emergency repair services for a total of seventy-seven generators. The generator portfolio consists of sixty-six fixed generators located at various sites throughout the City of Gainesville and eleven portable units that are critical to daily GRU operations.

The selected contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, transportation, supplies, materials, parts, tools, scaffolding, machinery, hoists, employee safety equipment, lubricants, supervision, and all other work and incidentals necessary for the inspection, service, maintenance, and repair of GRU generators. All generators and related equipment must be maintained according to specifications outlined in the solicitation and in full compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
