Generator Maintenance Services

The City of Georgetown seeks qualified respondents to provide scheduled maintenance, inspections, testing, repairs, emergency response, and related services for city-owned power generators and automatic transfer switch (ATS) gear on both a scheduled and as-needed basis. The scope of work includes quarterly inspections, load bank testing, ATS inspections, emergency repair services, and preventive maintenance activities.

The successful consultant must maintain proper licensing and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to generator maintenance services. Proposers are required to provide pricing on a unit-by-unit basis organized by generator size, with separate line items for monthly maintenance visits, quarterly inspections, load bank testing, and ATS inspections. An updated generator inventory list is available in Appendix A, detailing all city-owned generators including kilowatts, voltage ratings, fuel type, serial numbers, and locations across more than 40 city sites.

Key dates include a non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting on May 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM CT via Microsoft Teams, and a question cutoff date of May 15, 2026 at 12:00 AM CT. Sealed proposals must be electronically submitted through the City's E-bid system at https://gtowntx.ionwave.net/Login.aspx on or before May 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. A virtual public closing will be held immediately following the submission deadline via Microsoft Teams with dial-in options available.
