Generator Maintenance Services

The City of Georgetown seeks qualified contractors to provide scheduled maintenance, inspections, testing, repairs, emergency response and related services for City-owned power generators and automatic transfer switch (ATS) gear on both a scheduled and as-needed basis. The successful Offeror must maintain proper licensing and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and mandates.

The scope of work includes quarterly inspections, load bank testing, and ATS inspections for generators across multiple city locations. The generator inventory consists of 57 units distributed across four size categories: 21 units (0-100 KW), 17 units (101-300 KW), 8 units (301-750 KW), and 11 units (751+ KW). Pricing must be submitted by generator size category with separate costs for quarterly inspections, annual costs, monthly visits, and load bank testing services.

Key dates include: Pre-proposal meeting on May 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM CT (non-mandatory, held virtually via Microsoft Teams); question cutoff date of May 15, 2026 at 12:00 AM CT; and proposal submission deadline of June 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. The public closing will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams with call-in options provided. All sealed proposals must be electronically submitted through the City E-bid system at https://gtowntx.ionwave.net/Login.aspx.

Proposers may request site photographs of generator locations by contacting the procurement officer. Respondents must demonstrate proper licensing and ability to serve multiple locations throughout Georgetown, Texas. Three addenda have been issued updating the generator inventory list, specifications for South Lake generators, and clarifying pricing and service requirements.
