Generator Services for Preventative and Corrective Maintenance

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is soliciting sealed responses for comprehensive generator services covering preventative and corrective maintenance of standby emergency generators. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment to perform annual inspections and maintenance of standby diesel, gas, and LP generators located at various WSSC facilities in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties, Maryland.

The scope of work includes conducting annual inspection and maintenance on all approved generators at WSSC facilities. The contractor must furnish all necessary supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and materials to conduct these annual maintenance inspections. WSSC is a bi-county agency and public corporation of the State of Maryland established in 1918, serving 1.8 million residents with a network of nearly 5,600 miles of freshwater pipeline and more than 5,400 miles of sewer pipeline.

Key deadlines include a Q&A deadline of April 24, 2026 at 6:00 PM and a proposal submission deadline of May 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Responses must be submitted via WSSC's eProcurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/wsscwater. Late responses will not be accepted. The solicitation includes evaluation factors, insurance and bond requirements, and participation requirements for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) programs.
