The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is seeking a loan servicing organization to service its Green Jobs - Green New York (GJGNY) loan portfolio exceeding $660 million in residential loans as of April 30, 2025. The loan servicer will be responsible for: establishing loans received via an application programming interface from the loan originator; acceptance of borrowers' loan remittances by automatic withdrawal; accepting over-the-phone payments and payments remitted by New York's seven investor-owned utilities via API with correct application of those payments; applying and charging late fees and returned payment/non-sufficient funds fees; preparing and mailing monthly statements and bills; responding to borrower inquiries and complaints; providing payoff quotes and paid-in-full letters; maintaining an online application for borrowers to monitor their loans and make periodic payment adjustments; collections on delinquent accounts; and providing a variety of reports. The contract term shall be 10 years with one 5-year option to renew at NYSERDA's discretion.
