Herron Substation Steel

Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is requesting quotes for a steel package related to the Herron project. This procurement involves the supply and fabrication of structural steel components in accordance with detailed specifications and engineering drawings provided. The solicitation package includes comprehensive technical specifications, fabrication drawings, and a bid pricing sheet that vendors must complete and submit with their proposals.

Vendors must submit questions regarding the RFQ by June 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM CST to allow for clarification and response. The final bid submission deadline is June 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM CST. An amendment to the original solicitation was issued, which updated the submission deadlines and provided additional fabrication drawings and calculations for vendor review.

The solicitation documents include the main RFQ packet, detailed technical specifications and drawings for the Herron IFB Steel Package, a Microsoft Excel bid sheet that must be completed with pricing information, and a Q&A document containing previously submitted questions and GRDA responses.
