Horizontal Directional Drilling

GRU is seeking qualified vendors to provide horizontal directional drilling (HDD) services for an infrastructure project aimed at installing underground utility lines, including water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecommunications infrastructure beneath existing surface obstacles such as roadways, waterways, and environmentally sensitive areas. The work requires precision drilling to minimize surface disruption, ensure safety, and meet all applicable regulatory and environmental standards.

The scope of work includes pre-construction planning, site evaluation, drilling operations, installation of conduits or pipelines, and post-installation restoration. Vendors must demonstrate expertise with modern HDD equipment, possess a proven track record of successful projects of similar size and complexity, and maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality control, and timely completion. The project is part of a broader initiative to upgrade and expand critical underground infrastructure to meet growing demand and ensure long-term service reliability.
