IGP RFP - Lanai

Hawaiian Electric Company is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Lanai Integrated Grid Plan (IGP) resource procurement. This RFP is consistent with the findings of the Company's Integrated Grid Plan filed in Docket No. 2018-0165 on May 12, 2023 and the Supplemental Response filed on November 15, 2023.

The primary purposes of this IGP Lanai RFP are to stabilize rates, advance energy equity, grow the marketplace for large-scale renewables, create a modern and resilient grid, and secure reliability. The RFP seeks to procure system resources that support these strategic objectives while meeting the identified needs of the Lanai grid.
