Implementation Support for NYS EV Charger Monitoring

New York State is supporting the rapid statewide deployment of Level 2 (L2) and direct current fast charging (DCFC) charging stations to meet the needs of a growing electric vehicle market. NYSERDA has created multiple programs to fund charging station development: Charge Ready NY (providing rebates for L2 chargers), DCFC Light Duty Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Program (DCFC Program), and programs funded through the Sustainable Future Program, a new funding source created in the fiscal year 2025-2026 New York State budget with at least $35 million designated for additional L2 charging stations. NYSERDA seeks contractor assistance with data collection and program administration through this Request for Proposals.

The Contractor or team of contractors shall support the Charge Ready NY program, the DCFC Program, and programs funded through the Sustainable Future Program with electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) data analysis and statewide program management. Primary responsibilities include compiling and analyzing online data, supporting report preparation, and verifying data operations of L2 and DCFC charging stations funded under NYSERDA's programs. The scope of work encompasses support for all three charging programs and requires coordination with NYSERDA's established initiatives.

Key dates include an optional proposer webinar scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. ET, with registration available at the provided WebEx link.
