Intended Single Source Purchase to De-install PV system for roof replacement & Re-install of roof attachment clamps, solar racking, and PV modules onto roof and connecting to existing inverters

This is a Notice for a Single Source Source designation for Alachua County Board of County Commissioners. Commodity or Service Required: De-installation of PV system for roof replacement and Re-installation of roof attachment clamps, solar racking, and PV modules onto roof and connecting to existing inverters. Justification for Single Source Acquisition: Solar panels (PVFacilities) on the headquarters library roof were installed and maintained by Solar Impact during the contract with the owner of the system and the Alachua County Library District since February, 2012, which will be turned over to the Alachua County Library District at the end of the contract in February 2032. Recommended Procurement Approach: For the reason stated above, Alachua County Procurement Division intends to utilize the Single Source Procurement method to contract with Solar Impact, Inc. for supplying the above.
