ITB# 202621-Purchase of Two (2) Low Voltage Switchboards for Wastewater Treatment Plant Backup Generators

The City of Homestead seeks sealed bids for the procurement, furnishing, and delivery of two complete and operable low voltage switchboards: a generator output switchboard (SWBD-GEN) and a distribution switchboard (SWBD-DIST) with an Automatic Transfer Controller (ATC). The selected vendor shall provide all necessary equipment, materials, transportation, and services required for delivery and installation, including fuel, power, and communication capabilities. The vendor must also provide training and instruction on installation and setup services following equipment delivery.

This project supports critical infrastructure resilience for the City's wastewater treatment facility, funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant Mitigation Program (CDBG-MIT) I0127 grant. The backup power system will include three diesel engine generators operating in parallel under a Master Paralleling Controller, with the generator output switchboard serving as the common collection point. The distribution switchboard will manage automatic transfer operations between utility and generator power during outages.

All bidders must comply with federal, state, and local regulations including 2 CFR Part 200, 24 CFR Parts 1, 6, 75, 85, and 570 provisions.
