SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 0001 Solicitation 36C25623Q0012 for automatic transfer switches and paralleling switchgear preventive maintenance, testing, and inspection services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center located in Houston, TX is amended to to answer questions submitted in response to the solicitation and provide additional information requested. This amendment includes a list of questions submitted, with answers, and additional exhibits to assist in answering those questions submitted. These exhibits will NOT become part of the resultant contract award. The closing date and time, as indicated in block 8 of the Standard Form 1449 will NOT be extended as a result of this amendment. SOLICITATION The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) located in Houston, TX, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all parts, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform monthly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance, inspection, and testing of all GE-Zenith and Mustang CAT Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Paralleling Switch Gear (PSG). This is a 100% Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 238210. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, as of the date of quote submission and date of award. Award WILL NOT be delayed for registration. Interested parties must submit all questions concerning the solicitation, in writing, via email to james.hunt2@va.gov, to be received no later than 4:30pm CT, Friday, November 11, 2022. Questions submitted after this date/time may not be answered. SITE VISIT: Quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site(s) where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
