Kiefer Landfill Groundwater Treatment Plant, Extraction Well Repairs

Sacramento County Department of Waste Management & Recycling seeks contractor services for repairs and replacements at the Kiefer Landfill Groundwater Treatment Plant extraction facilities. The project involves pump and motor replacement in three currently inoperative extraction wells, along with wellhead replacement work. The County will supply all pumps and motors for installation; the contractor is responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work to complete the project in strict conformance with specifications and applicable regulatory requirements.

The scope includes replacement of nine old wellheads with new dedicated water level tubes (1 inch diameter) and transducer installation tubes (1 inch diameter). Wellheads will be provided by the Department of Waste Management & Recycling. Work must comply with all applicable permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction. Actual quantities of work to be performed may vary at the County's discretion from the approximations provided as a basis for bid comparison.
