The City of Georgetown is accepting sealed bids for the construction of a zebra mussel mitigation facility at the Lake Water Treatment Plant. The project consists of furnishing, installing, and providing all labor and materials required for construction of a new copper ion system facility for zebra mussel mitigation. Work includes installation of a copper ion unit, along with associated piping and valves, and structural, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, civil, electrical, and instrumentation improvements as detailed in the project drawings and specifications.

Bidding documents are available digitally at no charge through the Engineer, CDM Smith. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City E-bid system at https://gtowntx.ionwave.net/Login.aspx. Bidders submitting electronically must scan and upload bid security (sealed Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check) as an attachment to their electronic bid, with original documents to be delivered within 48 business hours of bid opening. Physical bid submission is also available at the City of Georgetown Purchasing Department, Georgetown Municipal Court, 510 W. 9th Street, Georgetown, Texas 78626. Bid security shall be postmarked and mailed to the same address.
