Lexington to Lyle Wolz T-Line Upgrade Engineering

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative is soliciting proposals for engineering services to upgrade a transmission line (T-Line) between Lexington and the Lyle Wolz area. The project scope includes the full engineering design and planning necessary to upgrade an existing transmission line to improve capacity, reliability, or condition. The awarded firm will be expected to provide professional engineering services including route analysis, structural design, electrical studies, environmental permitting support, and preparation of construction documents.

The selected proposer will work closely with Bluebonnet's engineering and operations teams to develop a cost-effective and reliable design that meets current codes and standards. Deliverables are expected to include detailed design specifications, material lists, construction drawings, and project cost estimates. The cooperative may also require support during construction, such as answering RFIs and providing field inspections.

Submissions are due no later than July 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT.
