Locating Services

Idaho Falls Power (IFP) solicits bids for furnishing all tools, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide underground electric and fiber optic line locating services. The scope of work is defined in the Instruction to Bidders document included in the bid packet.

Key Dates: Publication date is January 31, 2026. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM. An addendum will be issued on February 10, 2026. Bid opening is scheduled for February 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM. The submission deadline is February 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM.

Qualifications: Bidders may be required to submit evidence of sufficient knowledge, experience, equipment, and financial resources to perform the work. Evaluation factors include: work previously completed by the bidder; whether the bidder maintains a permanent place of business; whether the bidder has adequate plant and equipment to perform the work properly and expeditiously; whether the bidder has financial resources to meet all obligations incident to the work; and whether the bidder has appropriate technical experience.
