Request for Proposals for long-term energy supply resources to meet Ontario's electricity sector needs emerging in 2029 and beyond. The IESO is procuring energy supply resources through multiple RFP submission windows under the Long-Term 2 RFP umbrella. This first window (LT2(e-1)) seeks to procure resources capable of meeting both energy and capacity needs. Proposals must meet technical specifications including resource eligibility requirements, connection feasibility, and deliverability standards. Proponents must demonstrate Indigenous and municipal support, provide evidence of community participation, and submit Agricultural Impact Assessments where applicable.
