Mather Wells (W-87, W-95 and W-96) Rehabilitation Project

The Sacramento County Water Agency is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of three groundwater wells (W-87, W-95, and W-96). The project encompasses furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental work required to satisfactorily complete the rehabilitation in strict conformance with project specifications and applicable regulatory permits. The work will be performed according to detailed specifications and pump bearing line shaft reports prepared by the Water Agency.

Key project components include well rehabilitation activities, pump bearing and line shaft work as outlined in the Pump Bearing Line Shaft Report, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The project involves three wells located in the Mather area of Sacramento County. Contractors must provide detailed rehabilitation methodologies and timelines for completion of all work. Quantities of work are approximations and may vary at the discretion of the County during project execution.

Important dates include a Questions and Answers deadline of August 21, 2025 at 10:00 PM (Pacific Time) and a proposal submission deadline of September 4, 2025 at 9:00 PM (Pacific Time). All bid submissions must comply with federal labor standards (FHWA Form 1273) and Title VI assurances. Contractors should review the rehabilitation report, well drillers logs, and location map (all provided as attachments) prior to bid preparation.
