McIntosh Gas Turbine 2 (MGT2) Spare Starting Motor

The City of Lakeland seeks qualified vendors to supply one (1) spare starting motor for its 120MW McIntosh Gas Turbine Unit 2 (MGT2) located at 3030 E. Lake Parker Drive, Lakeland, FL 33805. Vendors may submit proposals for either a new motor or a refurbished motor. Refurbished motors must be fully reconditioned, tested, and certified to meet the original performance and dimensional requirements. The proposed motor, whether new or refurbished, must meet or exceed all specifications and drawings included with the solicitation.

Key dates include a Q&A deadline of April 23, 2026 at 9:00 PM EST and a proposal submission deadline of May 8, 2026 at 7:00 PM EST. The solicitation was released on April 9, 2026.

Submissions must include vendor questionnaire responses, pricing proposals, and completed safety and compliance documentation. Required attachments include indemnification forms, contractor safety evaluation forms, human trafficking affidavits, and PSM contractor annual audit forms.
