McIntosh Power Plant Unit 5 Bulk Hydrogen Supply

Lakeland Electric solicits standard cubic foot pricing for the guaranteed bulk supply of 99% pure (or better) hydrogen from well-established, reputable suppliers. The supplier must be capable of supplying McIntosh Power Plant's Unit 5 with product on a 365-day-per-year, around-the-clock basis within forty-eight (48) hours of order placement. The expected annual need is 200,000 standard cubic feet, with the on-site storage system operating at a maximum capacity of 2,000 pounds per square inch (psi).

An agreement will begin with the issuance of a Purchase Order for an initial term of one calendar year with four (4) optional one-year renewals upon mutual agreement. To ensure consistent supply of this critical product, the Owner reserves the right to tier the award so that successful Bidders receive either Primary or Secondary status. The Primary supplier will be the best-priced and most qualified vendor, while the Secondary vendor, also highly qualified and reputable, will be called upon if the Primary vendor is unable to meet Owner's needs.

Bidders must provide standard cubic foot pricing and meet all safety, insurance, and occupational health requirements specified in the solicitation. Required documentation includes vendor questionnaire responses, pricing proposals, indemnification agreements, contractor safety evaluation forms, and PSM (Process Safety Management) annual audit forms. All submissions must be received by the deadline to be considered for award.
