Mobile Hydrogen Fueling Station - 159 S Kinneloa Ave

Pasadena Transit is seeking a qualified vendor to install and maintain a temporary mobile hydrogen fueling station at 159 S. Kinneloa Ave, Pasadena CA 91107. The station will fuel Pasadena Transit fuel cell electric buses (FCEBs) while the permanent hydrogen station is being constructed and commissioned. The City of Pasadena has released two concurrent requests for bids with identical requirements but different site addresses (159 S. Kinneloa Ave and 2791 Eaton Canyon Dr) due to differences in site conditions and civil work requirements. Once a final site location is identified, only one request for bid will be awarded.

Key Dates: Pre-Proposal Meeting on April 11, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Questions and Answers deadline is May 9, 2024 at 9:00 PM. Proposal submission deadline is May 23, 2024 at 9:00 PM.

Bidders must submit proposals using the Labor & Materials (Competitive Bidding PMC 4.08.045) template. Required submissions include Material and Labor Bond Form, Faithful Performance Bond Form, Required Forms (Affirmative Action, Signature, Legal Status, Declaration of Non-Collusion), Relevant Experience Form, Subcontractor Listing, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities, Unique Entity ID (SAM) documentation, Technical Questionnaire, Delivery Schedule (Exhibit A), and Site Plan (Exhibit B).

Evaluation will consider bidder qualifications, relevant experience with hydrogen fueling systems, proposed schedule, compliance with all City and federal requirements, insurance coverage, and bond requirements. The contract will be awarded as a Labor and Materials contract under the City of Pasadena's master agreement template.
