Mound Sanitary and 17th & Yellowstone Storm Lift Station Upgrades

This project involves the upgrade of two wastewater lift stations in Idaho Falls. The Mound Sanitary Lift Station upgrade consists of the removal and replacement of the existing lift station lid, pumping equipment, electrical wiring, and controls. The 17th Street Lift Station upgrade involves the complete removal of the existing lift station and all of its appurtenances, with installation of a new lift station, pumping equipment, electrical systems, and controls.

The contractor must furnish all tools, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the upgrades, including any additional items specifically defined in the Bid Documents. The project is split into two bid numbers: SWR-2018-17 for the Mound Sanitary Sewer Lift Station and SDN-2019-19 for the 17th & Yellowstone Storm Lift Station (with related WTR-2018-24).

Key dates include a pre-bid meeting scheduled for September 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM, and a bid submission deadline of October 3, 2019 at 2:30 PM. Plans and specifications are available for examination at the Public Works Department office at 380 Constitution Way, Idaho Falls, ID 83402 during business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Bid documents can be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 per set. The bid was published in the Idaho Falls Post Register on September 15, 22, and 29, 2019.
