Natural Gas Piping Modifications

This project involves the modification of natural gas supply piping at McIntosh and Larsen Power Plants in conjunction with the transfer of the natural gas supply pipeline to FGT. Bidders are responsible for supplying, fabricating, installing, and testing all components associated with modifying plant piping to support the new natural gas loop system. The scope of work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the modifications in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

The work must be completed during the gas-out event associated with the FGT change over scheduled for October 2023. All modifications must be performed to support the new natural gas supply configuration at both facilities. Contractors must provide comprehensive documentation including design calculations, fabrication drawings, inspection and test plans, and as-built documentation upon project completion.

Key dates include a pre-proposal meeting on July 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM, a Q&A deadline of March 7, 2024 at 10:00 PM, and a proposal submission deadline of March 21, 2024 at 7:00 PM. Contractors must comply with all safety and occupational health requirements, provide appropriate insurance coverage, and submit a completed vendor questionnaire with their bid.
