New Electrical Motor 500 and 700HP

Zone 7 Water Agency is soliciting quotations for the procurement of new electrical motors rated at 500 horsepower and 700 horsepower to replace existing motors at two of the agency's facilities. The motors will be specified according to the motor plate specifications provided in the attachment section, which detail the technical requirements for both the 700HP and 500HP units.

Quotations must be submitted electronically through the Zone 7 Water Agency e-Procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/zone7water. The submission deadline is 2:00 pm (14:00) on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Vendors may submit questions regarding the RFQ with a deadline of October 20, 2025 at 9:00 pm.

The procurement covers motor plate specifications, pricing, vendor qualifications including small and emerging locally owned business status, debarment and suspension certifications (for purchases $25,000 and over), purchase order terms and conditions, bid protest procedures, and insurance requirements. Vendors are required to complete a vendor questionnaire as part of their submission.
