On-Call Hydrogeologic Consulting Services

The Sacramento County Water Agency is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call hydrogeologic consulting services in support of groundwater resource studies, management, and development, including well design and construction. The selected firm will enter into a three-year on-call services agreement with the possibility of contract extensions and additional funding. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis with payment on a time and expense basis.

The Agency owns, operates, and maintains several public water systems throughout Sacramento County, including service areas within the cities of Elk Grove and Rancho Cordova. These service areas depend largely or entirely on groundwater for their water supply. The Agency administers capital improvement and facility retrofit projects to expand and improve water supply facilities, including groundwater production wells, raw and treated water transmission mains, groundwater treatment plants, and storage and pumping facilities. The selected firm will provide hydrogeologic consulting services to support the planning, designing, modifying, and constructing of groundwater wells and related infrastructure.

Key dates for this solicitation include a Q&A deadline of January 15, 2025, and a proposal submission deadline of January 23, 2025 at 10:00 PM. Proposals must follow the specified format and content requirements outlined in the RFP. The evaluation process will include multiple phases to assess the qualifications, experience, and pricing of submitting firms.
