OVERHEAD ELECTRIC RELIABILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FY24-25

The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department is soliciting bids for construction of the Overhead Electric Reliability Improvement Project FY24-25. The project involves replacing aging overhead electrical facilities including transformers, wires, fuses, crossarms, and utility poles to improve electric service reliability for residents and businesses throughout Anaheim. The construction plans included in the bid package are representative of the total quantities planned, with the complete scope reflected on the bid list quantities.

This project is part of the Public Utilities Department's fiscal year 2024/25 Capital Improvement Program. All contractors and subcontractors bidding on this Public Works project must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5, with limited exceptions under Labor Code section 1771.1(a). The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
