Polar Consulting/Consumers – RFP for MISO Capacity

Consumers Energy, through its representative Polar Consulting, has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of electric capacity supply from the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) market. The procurement covers MISO Planning Years (PY) 2028-29 through 2030-31. Consumers Energy is seeking offers for both fixed and variable quantities of Zonal Resource Credits (ZRCs) derived from electric generation projects operating under Network Resource Interconnection Service (NRIS) within MISO Local Resource Zones (LRZ) 1-7. Additionally, offers for to-be-converted Seasonal Accredited Capacity (SAC) from projects operating under Energy Resource Interconnection Service (ERIS) within the same LRZ will be considered.
