Police Department UPS Service Contract

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance and repair services for six Liebert (VERTIV eXM) Uninterrupted Power Supply Units located at the St. Petersburg Police Department Headquarters Building (1301 1st Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33705). The work includes all labor, materials, technical support, documentation, supervision, tools, and equipment necessary to troubleshoot and repair units, program VERTIV eXM controls software, remove and replace failed components including power modules and batteries, and perform VERTIV firmware upgrades.

The UPS systems are critical infrastructure supporting the City's Emergency Operations Center, Police Department operations, and backup power for the Pinellas County Operations Center. These systems are essential to daily operations and are particularly critical during emergency situations. Vendors must possess programming software for VERTIV eXM controls and have the technical capability to conduct comprehensive service and maintenance.

Key deadlines include a Q&A deadline of April 15, 2026 at 16:00 and a proposal submission deadline of April 30, 2026 at 19:00. The procurement is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB-26-187). Submission documents must include vendor questionnaires, cost proposals, bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, and subcontractor summary spreadsheets if applicable. Business Enterprise Program participation is required or vendors must submit non-use forms.
