Prefabricated Control Building for 115kV Substation (Seward Substation)

Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) is seeking bids for the procurement and assembly of one prefabricated substation control building measuring 14 feet by 65 feet for installation at the District's Seward 115 kV Substation. The scope of work includes all planning, material coordination, schedule preparation, labor, supervision, miscellaneous materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, conveyances, mobilization, assembly, and demobilization necessary to complete the project. The contractor shall assemble the control building on pier foundations that will be designed and installed by others.

Key Dates: The request for bid was made available on May 13, 2026, at 1:15 p.m. CDT. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams on May 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CDT to review contract specifications and allow prospective bidders to ask questions and seek clarifications. The bid submission deadline is May 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CDT.
