Purchase and Delivery of Assorted Electric parts

The City of Palo Alto, Utilities Electric Department, seeks quotations for the purchase and delivery of assorted electric parts. This is a one-time purchase solicitation issued by the Purchasing and Contract Administration Department. The City of Palo Alto owns and operates all of its own utilities and is responsible for new services, repairs, and maintenance as needed.

Bidders may submit alternate proposals for any item noted in the RFQ. If an alternate part is submitted, vendors must note the proposed alternate manufacturer part number, pricing, and lead time. A data sheet must be submitted for any proposed alternate; items without submitted data sheets will not be evaluated.

The solicitation includes specifications, terms and conditions of purchase, a bid form, and attachments including insurance requirements. Bidders must complete the bidder's questionnaire as part of their submission. The City will evaluate quotes based on price, delivery lead times, and compliance with specifications and requirements.
