Purchase of Concrete Poles for Tabor Substation

Bryan Texas Utilities is seeking bids for the purchase of concrete poles required for the Tabor Substation project. This Request for Bid (RFB #022-07-26) is part of the Messer Project and invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the supply and delivery of concrete poles meeting specified technical requirements.

Bidders may submit responses electronically through the City of Bryan's procurement website at https://brazosbid.ionwave.net/ or via sealed hard copy delivery to the Bryan Texas Utilities Purchasing Department. All bids must be received by the submission deadline of May 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. The City of Bryan is not responsible for technical issues or high internet traffic near the submission deadline; bidders who submit during peak traffic times assume the risk that their response may not be received on time. Any bids received on or after 2:00 PM CST will not be accepted.

The question cutoff date for clarifications is May 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. All submitted bids will be publicly acknowledged via Zoom immediately following the opening on May 19, 2026. The Zoom meeting details are: Meeting ID 872 3052 9017, Passcode 021096, with dial-in number 1-346-248-7799.

Bidders are required to submit all required elements including pricing, required forms, and supporting documentation. Detailed specifications and drawings for the concrete poles are provided in the bid documents and appendices. An Addendum No. 1 has been issued regarding acknowledgement and bid name changes. Sealed bid responses should be clearly marked with the respondent's name and address and delivered to Bryan Texas Utilities Purchasing Department, 2611 N Earl Rudder Fwy, Bryan, Texas 77803.
