Project Overview The City of Homestead Energy Services Dept (HPS) is seeking quotes for the supply and delivery of three (3) complete 125VDC Battery Bank Systems. These systems are critical infrastructure components for the Lucy Switching Station , McMinn Substation , and Renaissance Substation . The battery banks serve as the "heart" of the substation’s protection and control system, providing the necessary DC power to trip circuit breakers during faults, power emergency lighting, and maintain communications with the System Control Center during a total AC power loss.
