ERCOT seeks to identify and contract with a qualified respondent to provide electrical services on an as-needed basis. This RFP is designed to establish a relationship with a qualified electrician or electrical services provider capable of performing various electrical maintenance, repair, and installation tasks for ERCOT's facilities and operations.
Respondents are required to participate through Workday Strategic Sourcing (WSS), a platform that ERCOT is utilizing to manage the entire submission process. Prospective vendors must create a free supplier account on the WSS platform to access RFP details, submit questions, and submit their proposals. The WSS platform also allows respondents to invite additional team members to collaborate on the response.
Key dates for this procurement include: RFP release on March 4, 2026; optional Notice of Intent to Propose due March 11, 2026; respondent questions due March 18, 2026; responses to questions issued March 20, 2026; and final proposal submission deadline of April 3, 2026. Respondent presentations may be required at a date to be determined. The anticipated contract award and contract start date are to be determined.
