Replace DHR Instrument Air (IAS) Compressor (rebid)

Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) is seeking proposals to replace an end-of-life air compressor at the Deerhaven Renewables (DHR) biomass plant. The new compressor has been sized based on a 2-week air audit study and will be installed outdoors beneath a roof rated to withstand 110 mph winds. The instrument air system is oil-free, therefore only oil-free compressor machines will be considered for this project.

The compressor will operate between 4,000-5,000 hours annually, with a second machine available for rotation on a weekly basis to balance operating hours across both units. GRU desires quarterly servicing of the machines and plans to accept delivery of the new equipment before June 2026. The compressor controller must not be remotely programmable in accordance with NERC cybersecurity guidelines.

Proposals must be submitted by May 11, 2026 at 6:00 PM EST. Vendors may submit multiple proposals. A Questions and Answers deadline has been set for May 1, 2026 at 4:00 PM EST.
