Request for Proposal - Kobelco Compressed Air Preventive Maintenance and As-Needed Services

Zone 7 Water Agency seeks a qualified vendor to provide preventive maintenance and as-needed repair services for Kobelco Compressed Air equipment located at two water treatment plants: Zone 7 Del Valle Water Treatment Plant (901 E. Vineyard Ave, Livermore, CA 94550) and Patterson Pass Water Treatment Plant (8750 Patterson Pass Rd, Livermore, CA 94550). The selected contractor will be responsible for routine maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance and operational reliability.

The Agency will award a three-year contract with options to extend for two successive 12-month periods if the proposal demonstrates reasonable pricing and best value. The anticipated initial contract term runs from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028. All proposals must comply with the specifications and requirements outlined in RFP 2025-072.

Zone 7 Water Agency is a dependent special district established under the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Act, responsible for providing wholesale treated and untreated water, flood control, and groundwater management throughout eastern Alameda County. The Agency was established in 1957 with an independently elected board.

Proposals must be submitted through the E-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/zone7water no later than 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Proposals will be evaluated based on vendor qualifications, technical approach, pricing competitiveness, and alignment with Agency requirements.
