Clean Power Alliance of Southern California (CPA) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide behind the meter (BTM) solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) consulting engineering services in support of CPA's Power Ready Program. The Power Ready Program provides BTM clean energy resiliency systems to municipal and community sites that serve a critical need. The selected contractor(s) will develop assessment methodology, perform desktop reviews and feasibility assessments, conduct detailed site assessments, support the solicitation process for developers, and provide construction implementation support. The scope includes analyzing approximately 175-350 potential sites initially, with detailed assessments for up to 50 sites. All sites will be located in CPA territory. The contractor will also be responsible for analyzing critical loads, developing system designs, creating financial assessments, and supporting the implementation process. The selected contractor(s) for this RFP will not be eligible to bid for CPA's subsequent solicitation(s) for the Power Ready program.
