San Diego Community Power (Community Power) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide load forecasting and scheduling coordinator services. The services are divided into two categories: Category A (Load Forecasting Services) and Category B (Scheduling Agent and Energy Storage Optimization Services). Community Power is a Joint Powers Authority and the default electricity provider for the Cities of Chula Vista, Encinitas, Imperial Beach, La Mesa, National City, and San Diego and the County of San Diego's unincorporated areas. The services are sought to support Community Power's mission of delivering reliable, clean, and competitively priced electricity to its customers. Category A includes Short-Term Load Forecasting, Long-Term Load Forecasting, and optional Compliance services. Category B includes Scheduling Coordinator Services, Congestion Revenue Rights Services, and Energy Storage Optimization Software Services. Proposers may submit proposals for Category A, Category B, or both Categories, and are not required to propose on all tasks or Categories within each submission. Community Power offers retail electricity services with approximately 8,000 gigawatt hours of annual load and is building a diverse portfolio of clean energy and storage resources.
