Clean Power Alliance of Southern California (CPA) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide scheduling coordinator (SC) Services. CPA is a Community Choice Aggregator program established as a Joint Powers Authority, made up of 35 local agencies across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. CPA will expand to serve 38 communities in the fall of 2025. The selected contractor will provide scheduling coordinator services for CPA's power portfolio, which includes approximately 11,600 gigawatt hours (GWh) of annual load. CPA contracts for various energy resources including fixed-priced energy, resource adequacy, carbon-free energy, and renewable energy. The scope of services includes SC services, deal capture services, reporting and data services, and miscellaneous services including business resiliency, transition period support, performance metrics, and data security. Additional optional services include Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) services, risk management services, load forecasting services, and energy storage optimization software services.
