San Diego Community Power (SDCP) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services to administer and implement SDCP's Community Grant Program. The work involves four main components: 1) Development of Grant Funding Sources - helping identify potential additional funding sources to increase the program budget (match funding), primarily from philanthropic rather than public funding; 2) Facilitation of Grant Application and Evaluation Process - facilitating the grant application and evaluation process from start to finish, including development of all grant materials, application intake process, sending grant communications, providing technical assistance to potential applicants, and facilitating grant evaluations with a grant evaluation committee; 3) Distribution of Grant Agreements and Funds - processing grant selections, notifying grantees, executing grant agreements, and distributing funds; 4) Facilitation of Grant Reporting - developing and facilitating grant reporting with each grantee. All program guidelines will be led by the selected proposer in consultation with SDCP. The work is expected to commence in October 2023 and continue through June 2027, covering three program years (FY 2023-24, FY 2024-25, FY 2025-26).
