RFB 26-26328 HOSS T1 Replacement

Matanuska Electric Association, Inc. (MEA) is requesting bids for the Hospital Substation T1 Replacement and High Voltage Transformer Liquidation project. The project involves the replacement of transformer T1 at the Hospital Substation and the liquidation of an existing high voltage transformer. This project is an amendment to and supplements the Electrical Construction Contract 2026-2027 (2026-2027 ECC), which is incorporated into the bid documents by reference.

Responses to questions will be provided to pre-bid meeting attendees by 5:00 P.M. AKDT on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Bids must be submitted electronically by uploading them to MEA's ShareFile site on or before 4:00 P.M. AKDT on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Late bids will be rejected. Unverified bid results will be posted on MEA's website at https://www.mea.coop/about-mea/procurement/ by 5:00 P.M. AKDT within two business days of the bid due date. Bidders are prohibited from contacting any MEA employee, board member, agent, or other associate regarding this request except through the formal question-and-answer process outlined above.
