RFB for Conduit

Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase of 18,000 feet of 4-inch Roll Conduit Pipe, SDR 11 rating. The conduit must be smooth wall, black with red stripe, include 1250-pound pull tape, and be supplied in 500-foot reels with no reels exceeding 96 inches in height. Approved manufacturers include ARNCO, BLUE DIAMOND, BULLDOG PIPE, CARLON, DURALINE, and FOUR STAR. The material will be purchased in box quantities, and bidders must specify the brand name and expected delivery time for all items quoted.

Delivery shall be made Free on Board (FOB) to GUC Warehouse located at 701 Utility Way, Greenville, North Carolina 27834. Delivery hours are restricted to 8:00 AM through 4:30 PM Monday through Friday only. All deliveries must include the GUC purchase order number on the packing slip and related documents. GUC reserves the right to refuse or return any delivery without a purchase order number or that is damaged, with no restocking fees charged for refused or returned deliveries.

Bidders must submit sealed proposals on the provided bid forms, clearly marked with the bid name and opening date/time. Two copies of the proposal must be received no later than June 24, 2025 at 3:00 PM (EDT). Bids submitted via fax or email will not be accepted. The submission address is Procurement Manager, Greenville Utilities Commission, 401 South Greene Street, Greenville, North Carolina 27834. Delivery time will be considered in bid evaluation, and failure to meet quoted delivery schedules may result in removal from acceptable manufacturers and bidders lists. All questions regarding this bid must be received by or before 12:00 PM (EDT) on June 12, 2025.
