Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the procurement of electrical distribution hardware items including dead-end shoes, stirrup clamps, cable clamps, strandvises, and guy guards. The solicitation consists of twenty-two (22) line items with specified estimated quantities. Bidders must quote on all items as a total package, and all items will be purchased in box quantities according to the detailed specifications provided.
The specifications identify approved manufacturers and part numbers for each item. Acceptable brands include Maclean, Anderson, Aluma Form, Chance, Fargo, CMC, Hubbell, Reliable (MPS), Blackburn, Electrical Materials, Joslyn, and Preformed Line Products. Delivery shall be FOB Greenville Utilities Commission Warehouse at 701 Utility Way, Greenville, North Carolina 27834, with delivery hours between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday only. All purchase orders must be shown on packing slips and related documents. The contract will be awarded as a multi-year agreement for a total period not to exceed three years, with fixed prices during the first year and options for annual extensions at the same or negotiated unit prices for up to two additional years.
Bidders must submit two copies of the completed proposal form by 2:00 PM EDT on July 31, 2025. Sealed bids must be clearly marked with the bid name and opening date/time and addressed to the Procurement Manager. Bids submitted by fax or email will not be accepted, and late bids will not be considered. Any questions regarding the bid must be received by 12:00 PM EDT on July 24, 2025. The contract will include all standard terms and conditions for GUC purchases, including insurance requirements, warranties, indemnification, and compliance with E-Verify and Iran Divestment Act requirements.
