Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) is seeking sealed bids for the furnishing of four (4) 2026 Ford F-350 XL Crew Cab 4WD vehicles equipped with Knapheide service bodies or approved equivalents. Each vehicle must include a Knapheide brand service body with LED lighting, work bench bumper, and electric door locks programmed to function with the chassis key fob.
The vehicles must meet comprehensive safety specifications including rear-view camera, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, Individual Tire Pressure Monitoring System, SOS Post-Crash Alert System, Trailer Sway Control, Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Traction Control, Wiper-Activated Headlamps, Front-Seat Side Airbags, Safety Canopy System, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and Forward Collision Warning. Detailed service body drawings are provided as part of the specification.
Bids must be submitted on the provided Proposal Form, Exception/Variation Form, and E-Verify Letter of Compliance. Bidders must clearly state any exceptions or deviations from specifications on the Exception/Variation Form, with all exceptions identified by specification page number. GUC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award based on the lowest responsible, responsive bid considering quality, performance, price, delivery time, and suitability for intended use.
Delivery is to be made Free on Board (FOB) to GUC Garage at 721 Utility Way, Greenville, North Carolina 27834, with delivery hours between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday only. Bidders must specify delivery time in weeks, which will be considered in the evaluation. GUC's purchase order number must be shown on the packing slip or related documents. All prices must exclude North Carolina sales tax, which will be invoiced separately. GUC is exempt from Federal Excise Tax and will provide a Federal Exemption Certificate to the successful bidder.
