This project involves the installation of transmission structures and conductors at Boviet Substation for Greenville Utilities Commission in Greenville, North Carolina. The scope of work includes construction of a new 115 kV transmission line tapping from an existing line, installation and removal of four new transmission structures, approximately 6,750 linear feet of transmission line conductor (1272 AAC Narcissus), and 2,250 linear feet of static overhead ground wire (7 No. 9 Alumoweld). Additionally, two existing transmission poles and related hardware will be replaced and transferred as depicted on detail construction drawings.
Greenville Utilities Commission will provide all materials necessary for the project. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, and incidental items required to complete the work. The project requires strict adherence to the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) for medium loading districts and compliance with OSHA safety regulations. Work sequencing is critical, requiring continuous and sequential performance that allows for timely transfer of existing loads, service cutovers, and retirements.

Liquidated damages are assessed at four thousand dollars per calendar day for failure to complete work within the construction schedule.
