RFB for MacGregor Downs Generator Station Materials

Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the furnishing of materials for the MacGregor Downs Generator Station. The scope of work includes procurement of 45 different items comprising pipe fittings, valves, flanges, gaskets, steel pipe, bolts, and related components. All materials must meet domestic source requirements and comply with ASTM and ANSI standards as specified.

The bid specifications detail materials including threadolets, pipe nipples, caps, stud bolts, expansion bolts, valves, elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, flange insulation kits, gaskets, pipe supports, and various sizes of steel pipe. Quantities range from 1 to 120 units per item. All items must be new and in first-class condition with standard commercial packaging. Bidders must specify the manufacturer of all items being quoted and may provide substitutes with full details of approved equivalents.

Delivery shall be Free on Board (FOB) to GUC Warehouse at 701 Utility Way, Greenville, North Carolina 27834, with delivery hours between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM Monday-Friday only. Delivery timeframe must be stated and will be considered in bid evaluation. The successful bidder agrees to furnish items at quoted prices within thirty (30) days of proposal acceptance.

Bids must be submitted on the provided proposal form only, with two (2) copies required. All proposed prices must include NC sales tax as a separate line item. Bidders must include completed Exception Form and E-Verify Letter of Compliance. GUC reserves the right to award individual items or the complete bid package and may purchase more or less than stated quantities based on actual needs.
