RFB for One (1) 2026 Ford F-250 XL Super Cab 4WD with Knapheide Service Body

Greenville Utilities Commission is requesting quotations for the furnishing of one (1) 2026 Ford F-250 XL Super Cab 4WD with Knapheide Service Body or an approved equivalent. The vehicle must include specific safety features and a service body meeting detailed specifications.

Key Specifications and Requirements:

Safety features required include rear-view camera, AdvanceTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control), Individual Tire Pressure Monitoring System, SOS Post-Crash Alert System, Trailer Sway Control, Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Traction Control, Wiper-Activated Headlamps, Front-Seat Side Airbags, and Safety Canopy System. The service body must be Knapheide brand with no exceptions and must include LED lighting, work bench bumper, and electric door locks on the service body programmed to function with the chassis key fob. Detailed service body drawings are attached to the specifications.

Bidders must submit proposals on the enclosed Request for Quotation form and must be signed by an authorized official of the firm. All exceptions to specifications must be clearly stated on the Exception Form; otherwise, the bidder is understood to be in full compliance with specifications. Unit prices must be extended and a total quote provided. No deposit is required for this quotation. Bidders are urged to compute all prompt payment discounts into the price offered.

Important Dates and Deadlines:

Quotations must be received in the Office of the Procurement Manager, Greenville Utilities Commission, 401 S. Greene Street, Greenville, North Carolina 27834 by 12:00 PM (EST) on November 13, 2025. Questions regarding the bid request must be received by or before November 6, 2025 end of business day. Late bids will not be considered. Bidders requesting to withdraw a bid must notify GUC in writing within seventy-two (72) hours after bid opening, not including Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.

Evaluation and Award:

GUC reserves the right to reject any and all quotations, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional quotes or counter proposals. The award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder whose evaluation indicates that the award will be in GUC's best interests, considering quality, performance, and price. The item will be awarded as a total quote.
